Switzerland
- Switzerland, the starting point of the EuroVelo 15, or the arrival point for those riding up the River Rhine, provides the most mountainous part of the route.

Germany
- The longest stretch of the EV15 is in Germany. It covers more than 900 kilometres from Lake Constance to Emmerich am Rhein, on the Dutch border.

France
- The River Rhine joins France to Germany over 180 kilometres. On the French side, the Rhine cycle route passes through the wonderful Alsace region and its two departments, Haut-Rhin (Upper Rhine) and Bas-Rhin (Lower Rhine).

Netherlands
- From its beginnings in the Netherlands, the Rhine splits into several branches. This is the beginning of the delta region. The EuroVélo 15 shows off the many faces of different rivers.
